Lori Foster, of Ucluelet, creates crafts lamps and baskets, and other items from kelp found on our local shorelines.
Both women’s works can be found in galleries around Tofino and Ucluelet.
A seven-minute documentary was put together by Tofino freelancer and photographer Jacqueline Windh, and was aired on CBC Radio One show North by Northwest last Sunday Oct, 26.
North by Northwest is a province-wide arts show, broadcast Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 to 9:00 am, and hosted by Sheryl Mackay.
